'So You Think You Can Write?' programme of the National Arts Council of South Africa

This is a script-reading and mentorship programme.

The programme was launched for the first time in 2009 with the National Arts Council (NAC) realising the need to be proactive in crafting new ideas that are backed by sound programmes and having a clear growth plan. The programme has certainly grown since 2009 with thirteen writers having been part of the programme to date. Each year, four scripts are selected to be part of the mentorship process, and this year, five writers working on four scripts have been selected.

Read more about it at the Arts Council's Website.
