Susan Mulholland is a playwright from the North East of England. She currently works for Northern Stage, the largest producing theatre company in the North East. To date Susan has been commissioned to write the company's last five Christmas shows for the under 6s; Thumbelina; Tattercoats; The Goblin Who Saved Christmas; The Prince & The Penguin; and The Little Boy Who Lost the Morning.
In her role as Deputy Director of Participation at Northern Stage, Susan produces theatre projects with young people from across the North of England. She has written for some of these projects too including Happiness and The Imagined Life of Gavrilo Princip.
She is currently exploring work with 0-3yr olds and working on this year's Christmas show, Shhh..., set in a magical library.
