Writing for Young Audiences aged 7-12 workshop from ASSITEJ South Africa

ASSITEJ South Africa will host a Writing for Young Audiences aged 7 - 12 on Saturday 29 October from 10:00 - 14:00 at the National School of the Arts in the Ballet Studio. With support from the National Lotteries Commission, these workshops are provided by ASSITEJ SA in order to stimulate more work for the 7 - 12 age group from the performing arts sector. The workshop will be facilitated by Yvette Hardie, director of ASSITEJ SA, theatre director, producer, educator and activist.

There will be two follow-up workshops for those who wish to develop their ideas from the workshop into a play-concept. These will take place on two Saturdays in November, after consultation with the group.

Costs for the workshop are: R50 per workshop for paid up members and R150 for non for non paid up members.
