Con el objetivo de celebrar el 25 aniversario de la Convención de los Derechos del Niño e impulsar el desarrollo de la Dramaturgia para Niños y Jóvenes, ATINA (Asociación de Teatristas Independientes para niños y Adolescentes) y EDITORIAL QUIPU convocan al concurso  de obras cortas destinadas a niños de 6 a 10 años ¡DERECHO AL ESCENARIO!  Los interesados podrán encontrar las bases en el documento adjunto. WLPG Sparks (Linz) – Catalysts for Discovery [June 2013]

The WLPG network put out a call for 500-word original monologues following a ‘prompt’ relating to the overall theme of catalysts for discovery.  Austrian playwright Holger Schober joined WLPG co-editors Tony Mack, Deirdre Kelly Lavrakas and Kim Peter Kovac in making the selection from several dozen entries.  The monologues were read at the ASSITEJ International Meeting in Linz on June 24 and 25, 2013  – playwrights read in their first language and English translations were provided.

Distinguished Play Awards from the American Alliance for Theatre and Education 

The American Alliance for Theatre and Education has recently announced the 2013 Disttinguished Play Awards.  There are four categories by age-range of play, and five plays from four playwrights are the worthy winners.
