Spinning Dot Theatre launched in August 2014 with the goal to make great global theatre to inspire and connect our audiences with the rest of the world. Our Repertory Theatre Company, Youth Company, Teen Apprentices, Unity Productions, Global Theatre Camps, School Residencies, Artist in Resident Programs and Satellite Performances all seek to lift up global stories to make the world feel bigger and smaller at the same time. And our world needs that right now – especially young people. Spinning Dot Theatre was Awarded the Zeta Phi Eta Winifred Ward Outstanding New Children’s Theatre in the USA in 2018 by the American Alliance for Theatre and Education as has received many local and international recognitions as well. The theatre has produced plays from Japan, Australia, Germany, Canada, Kosovo, Denmark, Ireland, South Africa, South Korea, and France.
