Millowa, Felix (Malawi)

Felix Millowa is a playwright with over twenty years in the Malawian theatre industry, focusing on adult audiences.  Four years ago, he began writing fiction for children and now wants to committ him self fully in writing plays for young audiences because of the children's drama academy that he owns. He says: "I am now busy writing my first script for young audiences and will work on it in some months to come.....forget about it....then pick it up for revision.  I will need the advice of experienced playwrights in this area.  I am already in the final stages of establishing performances for young people and children at Artistic Space Repertory Company. I am excited to pursue this project, and will be be recruiting Malawian artists for my company and train them on playing for children. "
