Wynne-Willson, Peter (England, UK)
Peter Wynne-Willson is a writer and director of theatre for young people, based in Birmingham. From 1982-92 he was Artistic Director of Big Brum TIE Company. He has written 39 plays including, Roy, Homeland and Heads or Tails for Big Brum, The Broken Peace for GYPT, The Shooky and Princess and Ginger for Birmingham Rep , Risky Business and Talking Balls for Women and Theatre, and plays for Gazebo, MAC, Birmingham Hippodrome
In 1999 he became Visiting Professor of Theatre-in-Education at the Korean National University of the Arts in Seoul, South Korea. This association has led to 8 new cross-cultural collaborations, including The Bridge in 2005 [revived for ASSITEJ Adelaide 2008] 6 plays for Moby Duck Theatre Company, and most recently the much- admired Looking for Yoghurt.
In recent years he has been increasingly involved in early years work.
