Ko, Sun Duck (Korea)
Ko, Sun Duck is a playwright and co-writer of The Bridge (2004) and a winner of ASSITEJ Koreaj playwriting awards in 2002 and 2003. Sun Duck studied Drama at the Korean National University of Arts. Her interest in the dramatisation of Korean authentic local stories inspired her to create Gamoonjang in 2004, a story from her hometown of Jeju Island, which is famous for its unique living culture. Continuing her enthusiasm for this theme, she was a speaker at the 2007 ASSITEJ symposium in Korea and also wrote the children’s book.
